PURPOSE: A braking device for a forklift and a construction vehicle is provided to keep the length of the stroke of a piston by using a piston seal. CONSTITUTION: A braking device for a forklift and a construction vehicle comprises a pair of piston seals(22a, 22b), upper and lower push pins(24, 26), a parking shaft(30), a parking lever(40), and a return spring. The pair of piston seals is contacted to the inner wall of a chamber and mounted in the exterior of a piston(20) and compensates the gap due to the abrasion of a friction plate(18). The push pins are mounted in the piston to be moved back and forth. The parking shaft is contacted with the push pin to move the push pin. The parking lever is rotated according to the pulling of the parking cable. The return spring is connected to the rear portion of the parking lever to operating the parking lever.
