<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine-driven air conditioner capable of executing a defrosting mode of an outdoor heat exchanger in parallel while executing a heating operation. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes a compressor 4, an engine 6, an indoor heat exchanger 3, the outdoor heat exchanger 8, an engine heat exhaust type heat exchanger, a feedback passage 10 for feeding back a refrigerant to the compressor 4, a bypass passage 14 for returning the refrigerant to a suction port 4i of the compressor 4 through the feedback passage 10, a bypass valve 15, and an opening/closing valve 16. When executing the defrosting mode of the outdoor heat exchanger 8 while executing heating operation, a control part 65 opens the bypass valve 15 and supplies a high-temperature and high-pressure gas-like refrigerant compressed by the compressor 4 from a discharge port 4p of the compressor 4 to the outdoor heat exchanger 8 through the bypass passage 14 to defrost the outdoor heat exchanger 8. Further, the control part 65 closes the opening/closing valve 16 to suppress direct feedback of the refrigerant flowing in the bypass passage 14 to the suction port 4i of the compressor 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
