<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance apparatus that can easily dissolve a massive liquid caused by the formation of a dried coating film on a surface layer by drying the liquid after the liquid is received in a liquid receiving member, and to provide a liquid ejection device and a maintenance method. <P>SOLUTION: The maintenance apparatus 100 is provided with a printer with a liquid ejection head 30 where a nozzle NL for ejecting ink is formed and maintains the liquid ejection head. The maintenance apparatus 100 includes: a flushing box 60 that receives ink ejected from the nozzle of the liquid ejection head; and a spur roller 70 that forms a destroyed portion where a coating film state is destroyed with respect to a drying coating film that is formed on the surface film of the ink by drying the ink after the ink is received in the flushing box 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
