<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of shortening time to start up application software started on the basis of operation on a touch sensor. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic device 1 includes: a display unit 30 for displaying an object; a touch detection unit 40 for detecting a touch by a touching body; a load detection unit 60 for detecting a pressing load; and a control unit 10 for exerting control so as to variably set an application preceding start-up reference value as a reference value lower than an application start-up reference value set as a reference value for a pressing load to perform start-up processing on an application associated with the object. When the touch detection unit 40 detects a touch by the touching body at a position corresponding to the object displayed on the display unit 30 and the load detection unit 60 detects a pressing load satisfying the application preceding start-up reference value, the control unit 10 exerts control so as to perform preceding start of part of the start processing on the application associated with the object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
