<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting apparatus that has a lightweight X beam capable of precise positioning of a head. <P>SOLUTION: In a component mounting apparatus 100 having rails 102 arranged for X-axis extension to guide X-axis sliding motion of a head 101, a bar-shaped X beam 103 mounted with the rails 102 on one Y-axis end portion and arranged for X-axis extension, and Y beams 104 arranged for Y-axis extension to guide Y-axis sliding motion of the X beam 103, the X beam 103 has a body part 103a made of a carbon-fiber-reinforced resin, and metal connection parts 103b, 103e configured to connect the rails 102 to the body part 103a which are fixedly arranged on the body part 103a at the one Y-axis end portion of the X beam 103. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
