<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply unit and an information processing unit, capable of suppressing a surge voltage. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply unit includes: an input terminal that receives AC power; a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal that output DC power; a rectifying circuit that rectifies the AC power input into the input terminal; a first inductor, connected to the rectifying circuit, for boosting; a first capacitor connected between the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal; a first rectifying element, connected between an output terminal of the first inductor and the positive electrode terminal, having a rectifying direction from the output terminal of the first inductor to the positive electrode terminal; a switching element connected between an input terminal of the first rectifying element and the negative electrode terminal; a second rectifying element and a second capacitor that are connected in parallel to the switching element; and a second inductor connected between the positive electrode terminal and a connecting part of the second rectifying element and the second capacitor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
