摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device and an input system capable of input operation for handling multiple operations with few gesture patterns.

SOLUTION: The input device includes: hand detection means for detecting a position of a hand; body part detection means for detecting a position of a body part of a user such as a face; relative position calculation means for calculating a relative position between the hand and the body part by using hand position information that is a detection result of the hand detection means and body part position information that is a detection result of the body part detection means; and gesture recognition means for recognizing gesture of the hand on the basis of a change of the hand position information that is a detection result of the hand detection. When a gesture of the hand is recognized, operation of the input device that is to be an object of the user's gesture is switched on the basis of the relative position between the hand and the body part.
