<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relief valve in which a sheet is prevented from being detached from a valve body when the relief valve is taken out of a casing. <P>SOLUTION: A relief valve 20 has a valve body 49 constituted of a retainer 25 screwed to a casing 21 and a plug 33 screwed to a retainer 35. A piston 42 is slidably fit into the retainer 25 in adjacency with the plug 33, and a poppet valve 58 is slidably disposed to the retainer 25, a conical part 52 which makes an inlet channel 30 communicate with or blocks off an outlet channel 32 provided to the retainer 25 is disposed to one end of the poppet valve 58, and the other end is supported by the plug 33 and the piston 42.
