<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that reduces dew condensation of a wind direction plate and improves design adjacent to an outlet of a housing lower surface which catches user's attention easily. <P>SOLUTION: In the air conditioner, a horizontal louver 41 is rotatably arranged in front of the outlet 40 which continuously opens widely from the bottom to a front part of a face of the housing 10, a front of the outlet 40 is closed when operation is stopped, and the horizontal louver 41 is opened at a predetermined angle during operation.
