<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator having a structure capable of continuing an intermittent and low torque rotation while attaining a simple structure and reducing a manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A power generator adopts a coreless coil as a stator 1 in which a coil 11 is wounded around a bobbin 12 formed by a nonmagnetic material, and generates electromotive force in an air-core part 13 of the coreless coil by rotating a rod-like rotor 2 composed of a permanent magnet. Thereby, a simple structure of the power generator, an easy production and a cost reduction can be attained, and also the stable and sustainable power generation can be realized by mounting a flywheel and intermittently providing a rotation torque from the outside. A driving source for the rotor 2 (wind force or rotation force of an electric motor 8) is designed to be switchable corresponding to the wind force.
