<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna capable of acquiring a non-directional property for both a horizontally polarized wave and a vertically polarized wave, and excellent in downsizing and cost. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna 1 comprises: a coaxial line 11 having a central conductor 12 and an external conductor 13; and a sleeve 14. The central conductor 12 projects from the sleeve 14 by about a quarter length of a center wavelength of a frequency band used in the antenna 1. The sleeve 14 is provided with a slot 15 (feed slot) formed along an extension direction of the sleeve 14.
