<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge device capable of cleaning a droplet discharge head more efficiently, and to provide a cleaning method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The droplet discharge device 100 is composed to supply a cleaning liquid 2 fed from a cleaning liquid reservoir to the droplet discharge head 110 through a first opening 216 and a nozzle 118 covered with the first opening 216 while relatively moving a cleaning head 210 with respect to the droplet discharge head 110 by a moving means 290 with the cleaning head 210 in contact with the droplet discharge head 110, and to suction the cleaning liquid 2 in the droplet discharge head 110 through a second opening 214 and the nozzle 118 covered with the second opening 214. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
