<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a representative vehicle control device in vehicle group travel capable of certainly notifying a driver of a following state of a following vehicle without visual recognition by the driver, when the representative vehicle is controlled in performing the vehicle group travel. <P>SOLUTION: In controlling a representative vehicle in the representative vehicle performing the vehicle group travel and a following vehicle, actual inter-vehicle distance between the representative vehicle and the following vehicle is determined. Seat back pressure according to the actual inter-vehicle distance between the representative vehicle and the following vehicle is applied to a seat back 22 of the representative vehicle.
