<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording material processing device capable of efficiently housing saddle-stitched recording materials by saddle-stitching recording materials in a state of giving a folding line. <P>SOLUTION: The recording material processing device includes: an image forming device 11 formed with an in-body space part between a device casing 13 and an image reading section 14 and is provided with a delivery section projecting upward on one side in the cross direction of an upper part of the device casing 13 to deliver the image-formed recording material to the in-body space; and a recording material post-processing device 1 housed in the in-body space and including a lateral casing provided with a folding device 8 which gives a folding line to a recording material S conveyed from the image forming device 11 and a vertical casing extending in the vertical direction and provided with a saddle-stitching device 5 which stitches a central part of a bundle of the recording materials S. The recording material post-processing device 1 is slidably fitted in the in-body space, and a distance from an end of the lateral casing on a delivery section side thereof to the vertical casing is formed equal to a distance from an end of the delivery section of the in-body space on an in-body space side thereof to an end of the in-body space on a side opposite to the delivery section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
