The present invention relates to a gas container valve having improved excess flow prevention and gas-tightness. In particular, the gas container valve may block an excess flow when the excess flow occurs at one side of the gas container valve, and may be further provided with an excess flow prevention valve through which only a small amount of gas leaks. Thus, the gas container valve may prevent gas from leaking by means of a damaged hose or may prevent a person-induced gas leakage from occurring to improve safety, thereby enhancing product competitiveness. The gas container valve includes: a valve body disposed on one end of a gas container in which liquefied petroleum gas or liquefied natural gas is stored, the valve body having a discharge hole therein; an opening/closing unit disposed on the discharge hole of the valve body to open or close the discharge hole, to thereby prevent gas from being discharged or filled and the gas from leaking; a safety valve disposed on one side of the valve body; and a handle unit disposed on an upper portion of the valve body to open or close the opening/closing unit through a user's manipulation. The opening/closing unit (20) includes an excess flow blocking valve (250) for blocking the opening/closing unit (20), when a discharge pressure of gas discharged from the gas container is higher than a rated discharge pressure due to the damage of the hose or force exerted by a person, to slowly discharge the gas, thereby improving safety. Also, first and second blocking walls (14, 16) are successively disposed on the discharge hole (12) of the valve body (10). The opening/closing unit (20) further includes a first check spindle (210) including a first packing (212) for sealing the first blocking wall (14) and a second check spindle (220) including a second packing (122) for sealing the second blocking wall (16). |
