<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption at a mobile communication terminal comprising two displays by making it possible to control backlight of both displays according to the importance of display objects in the case that the two displays display respective separate images. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile communication terminal makes the backlight of two displays lighter if one image is displayed by both displays, and controls the respective backlight of both displays according to the importance of display objects displayed by the respective displays if separate images are displayed on the two displays.
