INFORMATION DISPLAY DEVICE AND INFORMATION DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device and an information display method, capable of displaying articles dealing with a state of snow accretion on a display surface.

SOLUTION: An information display device 1 comprises: snow accretion detecting means (a snow accretion detector 30) which detects the presence or absence of snow accretion on each of a plurality of divided display areas of a display surface; display ability determination means (a snow accretion state specification section M2 and a display ability determination section M3) which specifies the snow accretion state of the each display area based on the detection result of the snow accretion detecting means and determines display ability of bypass display articles without using the display areas specified as areas with snow accretion; and display control means (a display control section M1) which controls display on the display surface. The display control means executes display control to display normal display articles or bypass display articles corresponding to the detection of the presence or absence of the snow accretion detecting means and/or to the determination result of the display ability determination means.
