摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light-emitting device capable of restraining leakage of light at the time of partially lighting up and restraining deterioration of image quality at the time of lighting up on the whole surface, and a display device having the surface light-emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: In the surface light-emitting device, structure bodies 30 are arranged in a range of a plurality of point light sources 10 on a reference plane 10A. An optical distance hc from the reference plane 10A to an upper end 30A of the structure body 30 is made smaller than an optical distance h between the reference plane 10A and an optical plate 20.
