<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white polyester film good at film-forming property, whiteness, reflecting property, lightness and light resistance, and to provide a surface light source good at brightness characteristics (having high uniformity in brightness in particular) by using the film. <P>SOLUTION: A white polyester film for a reflector of a surface light source comprises: a polyester layer (A) including bubbles; a polyester layer (B) with a thickness of 2 μm to 12 μm formed on at least one face of the polyester layer (A); and large-diameter particles (C) included in the polyester layer (B) in 0.1 to 5.0% with respect to a total weight of the polyester layer (B). An average particle size of the large-diameter particles (C) is 4 μm to 10 μm and is 0.8 to 1.3 times as large as the thickness of the polyester layer (B). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
