<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a crossflow fan capable of reducing energy loss and noise, and to obtain an air conditioner having the crossflow fan incorporated and capable of reducing noise and consumption power. <P>SOLUTION: An impeller unit 14 is provided, which includes a plurality of blades 13 provided along a circumference of an annular supporting plate 12. Each of the blades 13 is divided into a plurality of wing portions along a rotation axis direction AX. At least one of the wing portions 20 is structured such that a length of a chord line 28a which is a line segment for connecting between an outer wing peripheral edge 20b and an inner wing peripheral edge 20a of each of the blades 13 on a cross section vertical to a rotation axis 17 of each of the blades 13 is longer than that of a chord line 28b of at least one of other wing portions 21. The inner wing peripheral edge 20a of each of the wing portions 20 having at least one longer chord line 28a is formed to project more inwardly than the inner peripheral edge 21a of at least one of other wing portions 21 having the shorter chord line 28b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
