<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nobel packaging container having a triangular section and a manufacturing method for the packaging container. <P>SOLUTION: A packaging container 30 is manufactured by vertical sealing a packaging material of web form into a tubular form, filling the packaging material of tubular form with contents, horizontally sealing the tubular packaging material in a traversing direction to form a pillow-like package, cutting the pillow-like package into individual pieces of packages, and folding each package along folding lines to give it a top wall 31, side walls, and a bottom wall, and pasting fins 34 and flaps 35 on the top and side walls to form a final shape. The top wall 31 and the bottom wall each have a triangular shape.
