WAVELENGTH CONVERSION DEVICE AND ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT GENERATING LASER DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion device with high conversion efficiency and an ultraviolet light generation laser.

SOLUTION: The wavelength conversion device may include: a wavelength conversion element that has a light incidence plane and a light emission plane and generate second harmonic light of light incident from the light incident plane; a liquid cell that includes an incident part through which the light incident on the wavelength conversion element passes, and an emission part through which the light emitted from the wavelength conversion element passes; and immersion liquid that is stored in the liquid cell along with the wavelength conversion element and in which the wavelength conversion element is immersed with at least the light emitting plane coming into contact with liquid.
