<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately recognize density of an evaluation pattern, thereby accurately adjusting writing timing of each of light emitting parts. <P>SOLUTION: An exposure controller makes an image forming part draw the evaluation patterns which are different in writing timing. At such a time, the exposure controller controls the image forming part so that light quantity can be larger compared to a case when forming a normal image. A controller makes a density sensor measure the density of the evaluation pattern, and calculates the density of the evaluation pattern on the basis of the result of measurement. Next, a writing timing determination part extracts the evaluation pattern whose density is the lowest or the evaluation pattern whose density is the highest in the densities of the respective evaluation patterns, and determines the writing timing obtained when drawing such an evaluation pattern as the writing timing of respective laser diodes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
