<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing 3-(2-methoxyethoxy)propene, which reduces the harmful effect on health, the production cost and the various problems relevant to the reaction operation more remarkably than conventional methods; and to provide a method for stabilizing the 3-(2-methoxyethoxy)propene. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing 3-(2-methoxyethoxy)propene includes reacting allyl chloride with ethylene glycol monoethyl ether in the presence of an alkaline metal hydroxide. The method for stabilizing the 3-(2-methoxyethoxy)propene includes incorporating a phenol compound in the 3-(2-methoxyethoxy) propene, and preferably further incorporating an arylphophine compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
