<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve usability, and to meet a variety of needs of users, in a sheet cassette of a multi-stage structure having a lower-stage side tray and an upper-stage side ray. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet cassette 100 of a multi-stage type comprises the lower-stage side tray 50 and an upper-stage side tray 60 which can slidably be displaced between a feedable position and a retreating position in an upper part of the lower-stage side tray 50. The width of a sheet accommodation space of the upper-stage side tray 60 is formed to be the same with the width of a sheet accommodation space of the lower-stage side tray 50, and by this, such needs that the user desires to accommodate an A-4 sized sheet of plain paper in one tray, and to accommodate an A-4 sized sheet of exclusive-use paper in the other tray can be met. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
