<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure of a steering support member which easily absorbs variation of the positions of mounting holes of a vehicle side component. <P>SOLUTION: A steering support member 1 is supported on a vehicle side component 3 via a connecting member 2. A connecting face 14M of one end 14 of the connecting member 2 is connected to a connected face 10M of a connection portion 10 of the steering support member 1, while a connecting face 18M of the other end 18 of the connecting member 2 is connected to a connected face 17M of a connection portion 17 of the vehicle side component 3.
