<p>The bearing has a casing (1), and a bearing pin (2) that is arranged in a bearing gap formed within the casing. The lubricating fluid is sucked into the bearing gap, based on the rotation of the bearing pin along an inlet cross-section of an inlet gap between the casing and the bearing pin. The wrap angle between a force application point on bearing main portion and an outlet cross-section of an exit gap of lubricating fluid passed from the bearing gap, is larger than the wrap angle between inlet cross-section and force application point. An independent claim is included for method for designing hydrodynamic plain bearing.</p> |
