PURPOSE: A veterinary composition for treating wound or dermatitis is provided to be safely applied on the skin without side effect. CONSTITUTION: A veterinary composition for treating seborrhoeic dermatitis contains 0.1-0.5 weight parts of red shale with 20,000-90,000 mesh; and veterinarily acceptable carrier. The veterinary composition contains aqueous suspension of the red shale. The aqueous suspension contains veterinarily acceptable purified water, mineral water, spring water, deep sea mineral water, or desalted deep sea mineral water. The formulation of the verterinary composition is an external use formulation. The formulation of the composition is an ointment, mousse, aerosol, gel, cream, liposome-containing hydrogel, suspension, plaster, powder, hydrous plaster, liquid, foaming agent, shampoo, rinse, solid, pack, lotion, soap, or spray. |
