<p>An exercising apparatus (10), suitable for use by a person whilst seated, has a vertical post (20) supported by a base member (21) and an inclined strut (24) with a foot member (26). A telescopic arm (40) is hingedly mounted to the top of the post (20) and is adjustable for both inclination and reach. A first crank assembly (50) is mounted on the post (20), and a second crank assembly is mounted at the distal end of the telescopic arm (40). A user can operate the foot pedals (53, 54) of the first crank assembly and/or the hand grips (63, 64) of the second crank assembly (60) to achieve low-impact exercise.</p> |
