<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trace substance detector capable of automatically detecting a trace substance such as DNA by employing a simple and inexpensive structure. <P>SOLUTION: A trace substance detector comprises: a tube; a mixing/reacting part provided on the tube for obtaining a sample solution by bonding, through a reaction, a target substance to be detected, magnetic beads and a labelled substance; a measuring part provided on the tube for measuring the target substance bonded to the labelled substance; a pair of electrodes provided on the measuring part; a magnetism controlling part for adsorbing/holding the target substance bonded to the magnetic beads through magnetism in the mixing/reacting part or the measuring part; sucking/compressing means for moving the sample solution within the tube by sucking/compressing it; a plurality of valves provided in appropriate positions of the tube; and a control unit for controlling the magnetism controlling part, the sucking/compressing means and the valves, and one of the pair of electrodes is provided with coating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
