<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with information on what kind of user operation or operating environment can avoid an error. <P>SOLUTION: A system collects errors having occurred when a user uses a computer, and includes: a collection unit for collecting log information on an operating environment including an operation procedure by the user from the computer; a storage unit for storing the collected log information; a retrieval unit for, in response to reception of log information corresponding to an operation procedure with an error having occurred therein, retrieving, from the storage unit, log information corresponding to an operation procedure having no error and similar to the operation procedure with the error having occurred therein; and an information providing unit for providing the user with the operation procedure included in the retrieved log information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
