<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter which can reduce occurrence of unnecessary light and realize thickness reduction and low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A light absorbing structure 3 comprising an organic thin film configured by dispersing a dye having absorption in a desired wavelength region into a resin binder is deposited on a transparent substrate 2. A light reflecting structure 4a comprising an inorganic thin film configured by laminating a plurality of evaporated films so as to reflect near infrared light is deposited on an upper layer of the light absorbing structure 3. A light reflecting structure 4b similarly comprising the inorganic thin film is disposed on an opposite surface of the transparent substrate 2. Light reflecting structures 4a and 4b have transition wavelength regions that transit from a transmitting wavelength region of light to a transmission limiting wavelength region thereof, and at least a part of an absorption wavelength region of the light absorbing structure 3 is overlapped with the transition wavelength regions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
