METHOD FOR PRODUCING PIGMENT FINE PARTICLE HAVING ANTHRAQUINONE STRUCTURE, AND COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method capable of easily obtaining pigment fine particles having anthraquinone structure with a nano-sized particle diameter and also narrow particle size distribution.

SOLUTION: The method for producing pigment fine particles having anthraquinone structure includes: a first step of obtaining a mixed solution (A) with a liquid temperature (T1) of 70°C or less in which a pigment having anthraquinone structure is precipitated and which is obtained by mixing 600-3,000 pts.mass of an alkaline aqueous medium with 100 pts.mass of a sulfuric acid solution of the pigment having anthraquinone structure; and a second step of controlling the temperature of the mixed solution (A) to a temperature (T2) which is 50°C or less and maintains the state of the solution, wherein the control to the temperature (T2) is performed within 120 seconds starting from the point when the mixed solution (A) is obtained.
