<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door handle testing device that tests a door handle by cutting out only a portion surrounding the door handle from a vehicle door and applying the same acceleration as used in a crash test to see whether a handle part of the door handle rotates in an opening direction. <P>SOLUTION: A sample 40, which is made by cutting out an outer plate with a door handle 5 from a door 4, is mounted on a movable body 10 along with a door locking device 41. An impactor (impacting device) 20 shoots out a weight body 21 to hit an impact receiving plate (impact receiving body) 12 with the weight body 21 so that a large acceleration is instantaneously generated on the movable body 10. Due to this acceleration, a force is applied to the door handle 5 in an opening direction.
