The vertically lockable, double-wing safety door has a locking wing (1) and an active wing (2), where the locking wing has a bolt (4) arranged in a door front edge. A latch passage is equipped with a folding latch guide bracket (5) at upper or lower edge surfaces of the locking wing. The latch passage extends the bolt having a part of the latch guide bracket over upper or lower opening of the door front edge. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a floor mountable barrier plate; and (2) a protective angle bar.
