PURPOSE: A nuclear power plant high tension cable partial electric discharge measurement method is provided to prevent an electric shock, failure, or the stop of a nuclear power plant generated while driving in beforehand. CONSTITUTION: A high tension cable conductor(4) is exposed to both ends of a high tension cable(3). Three phases of one end of the high tension cable conductor are connected with an extremely low frequency pressure apparatus(7) in a lump. A high tension cable shield wire(5) is connected with ground(6). A high frequency converter(2) is fixed and coupled between the high tension cable shield wire and the ground. A frequency band of the extremely low frequency pressure apparatus is selected as one voltage among 0.01Hz to 0.1Hz. The extremely low frequency pressure apparatus applies a voltage of 1U0 to 3U0 to the high tension cable. A partial discharge measurement system analyzes whether partial discharge corresponding to the frequency band of the extremely low frequency pressure apparatus is detected or not.
