PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent noise-removed image by responding to a change in a luminance distribution of an image itself to improve reproducibility of a luminance change existing in a dark part of the image.
SOLUTION: A norm first variation calculation unit 12 sets an image norm that responds to a local luminance change defined as noise in a target image, and calculates a norm first variation as a noise suppression term of the image norm for each pixel. A luminance average value calculation unit 13 calculates a luminance average value of a processing target pixel and peripheral pixels thereof in the target image. An ε calculation unit 14 calculates an adjustment parameter ε for setting a degree of noise suppression due to the norm first variation to a value corresponding to the luminance average value. A multiplication unit 15 multiplies the norm first variation by the adjustment parameter ε. An addition unit 16 adds the processing target pixel to a multiplication result to generate noise-removed processing target pixel data.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
