<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine stabilizing the carry of a game ball shot to a game area while preventing a return ball. <P>SOLUTION: A gate member 410 preventing the return ball returning to a ball guide passage T includes an opening/closing part 411a opening/closing an exit of the ball guide passage T, and a side face 411a3 on the ball guide passage T side in the opening/closing part 411a is inclined to the front face side of a game board 30. A game ball having abutted on the opening/closing part 411a in the exit of the ball guide passage T is guided to the game board 30 side by the opening/closing part 411a to bring a course of the game ball close to a face of the game board 30 when the game ball enters the game area.
