The present invention relates to, as one mode thereof, a windowpane for vehicles, which comprises: a glass plate; a conductor layer which is formed on the surface of the glass plate by firing a silver paste that contains a silver powder and glass frit and which has at least a striated part and a terminal connection part that is connected to the striated part; and a connection terminal that is soldered to the terminal connection part using a lead-free solder alloy. The conductor layer has a specific resistance of 2.5-6.5 µOcm, and the line width in the striated part is 0.35 mm or less. The lead-free solder alloy is substantially composed of tin and silver, and the tin content thereof is 95% by mass or more. This windowpane for vehicles does not suffer from cracks in the glass plate even after 500 cycles in a predetermined temperature cycle test. The present invention also relates to a method for producing the windowpane for vehicles. The windowpane for vehicles can maintain good bonding strength even in cases when exposed to high temperatures and low temperatures during the soldering to the glass plate using a tin-silver-based lead-free solder alloy, and is prevented from cracks in the glass plate. In addition, the windowpane for vehicles has reached a high degree of perfection in the appearance design. |
