<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which can collect information indicating areas accessible to a public wireless LAN in a wide range regardless of types of providers and store the collected information in a database. <P>SOLUTION: A system 1 has a portable terminal device 10 which comprises GPS means 12, wireless LAN communication means 13 and data communication means 17; and a server 20 which comprises storage means 22 and accessible area map creation means 24, and performs data communication with the portable terminal device 10. When the portable terminal device 10 is recognized to be in an area accessible to a public wireless LAN, the wireless LAN communication means 13 acquires access information for accessing an access point in the area, the data communication means 17 transmits positional information and the access information for accessing the access point to the server 20, and the server 20 stores the positional information and the access information for accessing the access point which are received from the portable terminal device 10 in association in the storage means 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
