<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device, along with a printing apparatus and a display control method, capable of promptly completing the setting of conditions to drive the printing apparatus, by reducing the selection frequency by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A display controller unit 70 for controlling a display device 41 includes: a counting unit for counting a selection frequency of the selected function, while the display device 41 displays a function selecting screen for selecting either one of respective functions, when either one of the functions is selected from among respective functions; a frequency management unit 73 for managing the counted selection frequency for every function; a reference change unit 74 for changing a reference screen to the screen corresponding to the most frequently selected function, which is managed by the frequency management unit 73, from the function selecting screen; and display control unit 75 for displaying the reference screen in the display device 41 when a multifunction machine executes an initial motion processing upon starting power supply. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
