<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve anti-hydroplaning performance while inhibiting the degadation of noise performance and controllability/stability. <P>SOLUTION: A tread part 2 includes a center-peripheral main groove 10c, a pair of shoulder-peripheral main grooves 10s, center side grooves 12c, and shoulder side grooves 12s. The center side grooves 12c each slope in the opposite direction to belt cords 15 of a radially outermost belt ply 7B and have a groove width Wyc of 1.0-6.0 mm. The shoulder side grooves 12s each slope in the same direction as the belt cords 15 of the outermost belt ply 7B. The shoulder side grooves 12s each consist of a narrow part 31 having a groove width Wys1 of 0.4-1.5 mm and ranging to the shoulder-peripheral main groove 10s, and a wide part 32 having a groove width Wys2 of 2.0-8.0 mm and extending beyond a tread grounded edge Te. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
