<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus reasonably incorporating a process for discharging ammonia being a disincentive of methane fermentation outside a system in a wastewater treatment process for collecting biogas from the wastewater with high nitrogen content by methane fermentation. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: a process for performing anaerobic fermentation treatment of the wastewater with high nitrogen content containing nitrogen of ≥5,000 mg/L at 30-50°C; a pressure reducing process for removing by pressure reduction, ammonia in the wastewater generated through the anaerobic fermentation process; and a methane fermentation process for methane-fermenting the wastewater in which an ammonia content is reduced through the pressure reducing process to obtain a methane gas by the methane fermentation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
