<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which performs adequate processing on a file even when the file is stored in a hot folder between different OSs. <P>SOLUTION: When a file being stored in a hot folder is detected, an information processor stands by so that a file may not be processed for a predetermined period, based on a setting associated with the hot folder.
