<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device control system which, when a user ID is input in a card reader (specific device) connected to a device server, can execute (start) data transmission/reception between a client PC and a device on a network that are associated with the user ID. <P>SOLUTION: A device control apparatus detects a state change (input of a user ID) in a first device connected to an own apparatus, acquires control information from an information management apparatus on a network based on the user ID acquired from the first device, and generates a connection request command having identification information of a second device included in the control information to transmit the generated connection request command to a client apparatus identified by identification information included in the control information, so as to start data transmission/reception between the client apparatus and the second device on the network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
