<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping monitoring system capable of saving labor for maintaining piping. <P>SOLUTION: A piping monitoring system comprises: a plurality of sensor nodes which are installed on piping, detect information on a state of a fluid flowing inside the piping, and wirelessly send the information; and a receiving device which receives the information wirelessly sent by the sensor nodes. The sensor node has an oscillation generator, as a power source, which includes an electrostatic induction type power generation device 3 including a first electrode 11, an electret 12 provided on the first electrode, a second electrode 21 arranged with a space from the electret, and is configured to enable one of the electret and the second electrode to move relative to the other by an oscillation of the piping.
