<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a control board from a fire disaster caused by an external fire or fired on purpose, and to prove that such a fire disaster is not caused by a fire inside an air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: A metallic fire disaster shielding cover 19 is provided between the control board 22 and a terminal block installation plate 20, and the fire disaster shielding cover includes: an opening shielding wall 19h where a lead wire 14 transitably covers the opening 20c of the terminal block installation plate; and a control board shielding wall 19e covering a terminal block installation plate side of the control board from below. In case an outdoor unit of an air conditioner is fired on purpose, a flame to spread into the control board via the lead wire is prevented by the opening shielding wall and the control board shielding wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
