<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke overdubbing and editing system capable of performing a sing with atmosphere by recording and editing with a balance of a main vocal and a back chorus well adjusted and, when one person sings both parts, by changing voice frequency characteristics between the main vocal and the back chorus. <P>SOLUTION: Volume analyzing means 10 analyzes the volumes of main vocal recording data 100 and back chorus recording data 110, voice frequency analyzing means 20 analyzes the voice frequencies, and analysis data comparing means 30 compares the analysis data of the volumes and the voice frequencies. When the recording volume of the back chorus is larger than the recording volume of the main vocal, volume compression ratio adjusting means 50 adjusts the volume compression ratio of the back chorus recording data 110.
