<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic strainer for element regeneration in which sludge stuck to both of inner and outer circumference surfaces of an element for filtration can be automatically removed while using a strainer when the element for filtration clogs by sludge that easily sticks to inner and outer circumference surfaces of the element for filtration and grows, and which has a simple structure and is inexpensive. <P>SOLUTION: In a strainer body having an inflow port for raw water and an outflow port for clean water, the cylindrical element for filtration is arranged and the raw water is filtered from the inside to the outside or from the outside to the inside of the element. The automatic strainer for element regeneration is characterized in that a scraping mechanism formed of a brush or a scraper for scraping sludge stuck to the inner and outer circumferences of the element is rotated on the inner and outer circumferences of the element via a rotation drive mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
