<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery offering a high capacity at high output discharge even if a positive electrode mixture layer is thick. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous secondary battery comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The positive electrode has a positive electrode mixture layer which contains a lithium-containing composite oxide of spinel structure containing Mn as a positive electrode active material, on at least one side of a collector. The positive electrode mixture layer has a thickness of 70 to 400 μm, a specific surface area of 0.5 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g or greater, and a porosity of 30 to 45%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
